My name is Dorian Broadway and I practice the ways of the cunning folk. That is the ways of those who engage in the Arte of magic, in the study of folklore and folk herbalism, and in the art of divination. My practice spans almost the entirety of my life and for over 20 years I have devoted myself to the pursuit of it. I emphasize potent practicality and the telling of fortunes that move you in your very bones.
My practice is primarily expressed through the cunning folk craft of the British and Germanic peoples of Europe in whom my ancestral heritage lies. As one who was born and raised on the outskirts of Appalachia in North Carolina I also incorporate elements of southern United States conjure and rootwork as it has been both developed and preserved throughout the South.
My style of reading favors detached discernment, shrewd sense, and paying attention to what I see. I analyze the cards that appear for you and from them extract the most precise and relevant narrative that I can in order to provide you with the clarity you seek. I allow any intuitive or other abilities to serve adjunct to my deductive reasoning. I find this delivers readings that are more consistently brilliant.
